I'd suggest going next summer when they are healthy and their flesh isn't decaying on them. Uness you like rotting fish that can be caught in 6 inches of water with a cigerette butt.

Waving the fish at the tourny guys is pretty classless though. Not much arguing that. A little more respect in that regard would be expected.

Yes I've been there. If I wanted some bass plastic or an over priced fishing rod, it'd be in the right place to go. No hunting gear there, nothing for boats, no clothing/gear inventory, ect. Other than bass junk, there's not much else there. Unless you want to rent a movie. If you're comparing Paddl...

I'm 100% serious. Who cares if it's through thier lip or through their forehead. They all go on the stringer regardless. A big 8/0 reduces lost fish.

BPS would make a fortune in the ottawa area. Currenty, there's too many small shops that are under stocked. They can all "order' you something, but you can do that yourself online. Those that are stocked are full of old stock. I'm not even going to start on their over priced retails. Bring on b...

Absolutely. I find a big hook like that will go right up through their skull and then there's no fear of losing the fish.

It's so wonderful to see a picture of you and a fish, but is there any pictures of the pike and the winners?

What happened to the brothers that were in second place after day 1?? Big time choke, or lucky day 1?

That's the beauty of a 2 day tourny, lucky days don't win it.

I have to agree with Tip-up. No shortage of fish there.

During the spring we took daily limits out of there. Big Dewie on an 8-0 hook was the go-to bait.

I'll have to try the broken in two rapala in the future.

I think you should get a handle on the fish with a big dewie first.

Then if you want to test your jigging skills, or by the sounds of it perhaps develop them, then I'd move to the plastic jigs.
