Browns are one fish that I'd like to see more of in the perth area. I'm not of a fan of float rods though, they seem like more bling than a tool. Our annual spring trips to the Ganny were always productive for trout. Heavy line on a thick 6 foot pole always landed more fish than those young fella's ...

Manufactures warentees are really good these days. With a reciept, they'll pretty much take anything back. Except at Lebarons.

I broke a rod myself this spring. When I pushed in the tractor clutch, it snapped my Zebco Quantum tour edition spinning rod. Crack - garbage.

I would have sent it in under warentee, but it was my own stupidity. All my gear goes in the tractors front end loader now.

This is one lake the crappie are easy to catch year round. I do however struggle with summer walleye there. If I don't catch one this fall, I may have to attend one of ET's seminars.
