I do put quite a bit of strain on the prop as I generally am not towing in a straight line, but that was scary. I sent an email to the company but never heard...

Re: Bass Opener
I may give it a try. I have heard that there are a bunch of rocks and other hazards so have not fished there in the past. Yes, for God's sake don't go to a lake that has rocks and hazards to fish Bass! I heard there may be docks, weeds and overhanging trees as well. Hell, just navigating the highwa...

Re: LittleBru warming up for BOVT
Sorry to hear about your truck, hope its not in the shop too long. Nice fish! At 19" that is the largest on the board right now I'm pretty sure. Tight lines, C&F Too bad the fish was caught a couple of weeks ago! We are heading back up to our camp in a couple of weeks so hopefully he can t...

LittleBru warming up for BOVT
LittleBru warming up for the BOVT with a nice 19" smallie last weekend. The fish were off with the blazing heat but we managed a couple 4 pounders. I just blew the transmission in the F150 so looks like a NO fishing weekend  Good luck to all the BOVT participants, lets see some great posts...

Dear Fish-hawk friends: What I learned from this post: - Mav and Star are bullies who wronged Smitty - Smitty has had enough and inulted them - Smitty has had enough and insulted their fishing prowess, or lack there of - Money can't buy you love - Paul wants to invite Mav, Star and Smitty to co-host...

Re: 90 merc 4 stroke or 90 etec
I have a 90 Etec and love it. 4 years so far and no issues, maintenance due only every 3 years, self winterizing, light, fast, quiet, good on gas. Burns through a gallon of oil ($45) every year but I pull the kids tubing all weekend long it seems so not that bad. I had a Merc 4-stroke 60hp before th...
