went to a local fishing tournament last year where a guy caught a 7lb 3oz largie... was a freaking pig

The people who are uneducated about the fishing system and laws in place, I worked where we sold fishing permits and some people come in and ask if they even need a permit and have no idea of fish limits. it's disturbing at the amount i have seen

thanks guys for all the help, It's really appreciated. we went to check it out in either case just for exploring purposes. Nice lake but no luck really, Gotta love people who take advantage of our country. and we all know who the majority is that is "stealing" these fish.

went fishing last saturday and apparently a bass tourny was going on, came back after a couple hours and the weigh in's were done. was approached by a lady asking if we wanted any bass, being curious we asked why and she said most of all the bass weighed DIED. now is it just me or should this be NOT...

also caught a round goby... not good.

fenwick makes great stuff, i think cabelas has them you can order them on line, although get a two piece (much cheaper delivery)
