This weekend, I am going with my dad fishing for the first time in like 6 months, and he's asked me to pick a trout lake or stream or river etc. Now my job is to find one for Friday lol. Suggestions will greatly appreciated. I keep my lips zipped. Promise I already have some ideas thanks to MattDBZ2...

Today I fished some new spots which I haven't been to before. My sister gave me a bike so I was able to get out a bit and slowly bike around looking for new areas. Around 7pm I caught a pair of nice 2-3 lb bass. Largemouth Around 8 I get to another spot, and I can see MONSTROUS BASS, like 5-6+ lb'er...

could be close to a record for Ontario It was really fat and heavy, but then again, i'm not good at judging fish, I should get a scale!

I am always fishing with worms, and a jig head medium sized or smaller, or Slow Death Hooks, or Circle Hooks. But I love the slow death ones! I missed out on a 35+ inch pike . I was reeling in a Perch, and the Pike hit it and I was dragging it to shore and it was maybe1 ft from me and it let go! :P ...

Nottawassaga river comes to mind.

Runs through Wasaga beach, but you probably want to fish it somewhere ALOT more upstream than that.

Also I don't know whats open there, so read the regs. I know there are Salmon and Steelhead and maybe even brookies or bows in there.....
