What grain weight do you shoot fellas?

I go with the 130g in my .270 as I found it the most accurate at the 100yrd range I shoot on. Out past there is un-tested by myself.

My buddy tried the a bunch of rounds and found 150g was better.

I was wondering what brand and calibers of rifles people were using for their deer hunt this year. Me... .270 WSM Browning X-Bolt Black Composite. Just curious. Set-The-Hook I use the a-bolt in the same caliber. And a rem semi auto 20gauge fully rifled barrel slug gun with a red dot for pushing bus...

Good on you for letting those walk. 60yrds, IMO, it too far for bow. Sure the arrow will kill, but the speed of the arrow is the issue, as I'm sure you are well aware. I've only been wing hunting for 2years now, but have to say I love it. Just got a pup as a family dog and plan on training her to retrieve for me. A goldendoodle... Allergies..
