Re: Prop repair

This spring I stopped in at the prop shop had a discussion about what I didn't like about my old damaged prop and he made me a offer, I upgraded to a new four blade prop for $100 and my old prop as a exchange, if I didn't like the new one I could return it for my old repaired prop and the cash and i...

The spot is scouted and posted for this year, Today I decided to redo the duck boat. I'm going to build a flip up blind, add some new seats, move the battery to the front to be able to go shallower.

I'll post a boat build in acouple of days to keep our minds busy till the openner.

Brodes if your looking at going out this year your going to want to check out a couple areas early so when the sun comes up there's no surprises and you know exactly were you are. I use this time to do some fishing and mark a trail with the GPS or some kind of reference points, so as not to hit any ...

This weekend were going to try a portable fish finder to see what the depths are so we know what we are up against. We have tried many different things, many of the above ideas except bottom bouncers wich I'm bringing this weekend to see what that brings to the surface. We've discussed fly rods but ...

Fishing Rainbows and need help

My brother in law purchased a cottage on the Quebec side with a private 20 ac lake stocked with Rainbows. I've never fished for trout until now and was looking for some advice for spring, summer and fall. This weekend we tried small flashers, about 3' of line and a spiner and worm. Tried different sp...

I've been wanting to try the Nation at the Castor. Is that the closest launch to that area? seems that would be a long drive by boat.

Thanks

Hunting the Rideau @ Kilmarnock?

Does anybody know of a regulation that prohibits hunting on the Rideau around Kilmarnock? I know the Rideau bird sanctuary is there and you cannot hunt in that area but what about the rest.

Thanks

I will call the marine squad of the OPS this week once I go by his dock to see exactly where he lives. I think it's a ski school near Osgoode.

Nips, I think we have something in common! The old white haired guy in the yellow and white wake board boat!!!!!

First report with a not so happy ending!

Well here is my first report. I was out this morning with my 12 yr old daughter on the Rideau near Osgoode. Fishing was ok with a 2lb SM and a large Pike but couldn't get it to the boat. The best part was by 9am a wake board boat started going up and down the Rideau in the same area as we were fishi...
