Re: It's walleye time!
Good thing it was just a walleye and not a heavily sought after fish that's hard to catch... like a bass! Then people would start getting mad! - Nothing racist about this. Don't play the race card unless you're certain because everything you say after and everything you've said before is disregarded...

Re: The Value of Large Walleye
I realize that you aren't talking about this type of "Value", however in the case of monetary value... it appears that one out of slot harvested walleye is about $500 + $1000 for not stopping for the conservation officers!

Re: website with a list of boat launches
The QC side is pretty secretive about the boat launches... similar to the ON side with Calabogie spots!
If it's near Maniwaki area, shoot me a PM if you want to keep the lakes out of the general forum and I will do my best to help you as I have (as my ex GFs will tell you) been around!!

Charly over at Whitefish Lodge might be an option. He's on Heney (Just west of Pem), but brings his client all around the area. If he can't help directly, I'll bet he'll know someone who can. Look him up on FB as I don't know their website if they have one or not... Pavillon Whitefish Lodge (Lac Hen...

AMAZING product line! I see the size of the 2.8 OZ spinners at about 10 inches long from eye to hook... what about the 1.2 OZ one? Is it the same length but just lighter?
THank you!

Smitty's da man! Anyone know what happened to Huard Lodge? ( 47.044374, -79.101767 ) Is it still in operation? It was a guy with gout and his wife who drank a fair bit too much to take anyone out who used to run the place. I spent a hard week there on my own trying my best to track down the October ...

Re: lac beaulieu st therese
Pem is one of my favorite lakes. Lakers for sure, but I like the pike in that lake! Delicious!! Gin clear water unlike anything I have ever seen and 100s of spots around the lake perfect for shore lunch! Smitty knows this lake quite well too. There are quite a number of lakes all bound by the 105, 1...

Re: lac beaulieu st therese
I have never fished it, but I have fished quite a few lakes all around it in the same watershed. If I had to guess I would assume smallies, lakers, whitefish and maybe some pike. Off chance it might have largies. Good luck though! I have scoped it out a few times looking for a chink in it's private ...

Some people say, they can't be caught. Only snagged.
All I know is that if you do manage to get one to the boat, don't try to lip him!
