Cloudy console windshield
Hi folks, Both windshields on my dual console Lund have turned quite cloudy over the years. I'm thinking of trying one of those headlight lens cleaning kits on them and was wondering if any of you had any experience using them, and could pass on any advice. Also, if anyone has an alternative solutio...

More Thievery in Arnprior
Just to let everyone know the stealing hasn't stopped in Arnprior. A friend of mine had a bunch of gear stolen from his truck at the ramp behind the airport at the headpond yesterday. While at the police station, he ran into another chap who was there to report that his vehicle was broken into at th...

Re: I had a huge... Something!
I truly wish the ministry would open a C&R season for sturgeon on the Ottawa. I've hooked a few accidentally and would love to be able to target them.

Fished that stretch for many years for other species and never ever saw any indication that Muskies were there. Not to say there aren't any, but I've ever seen them.

Re: Fishing Report #2 a.k.a The Ottawa R
You mentioned you launched at Plantagenet so if you caught the walleye in the S. Nation river I believe you were actually in Zone 18 so those rules would apply as far as allowable size is concerned. I'm not really sure where the line is between zones 18 and 12 but I presume it's very near where the ...

Re: Hudson River...Striper Beginnings.
Used to do a lot of Striper fishing in Nova Scotia as a young lad. I remember helping my uncle land a 59 lb monster that gave him fits. We still talk about that fish when we get together. That quality of fish is rarely seen any more. I'm guessing you released all your fish on this trip, but the smal...

Re: Fishing Report #1 A.K.A. Sad story of my life...
Totally agree with Scarkner. I spent many days on the Ottawa R trying to figure out how to catch walleye consistently and got nothing for my efforts. My wife gave me a half day with Yannick Loranger at Ottawa River Guided Fishing for my birthday a couple years ago and I've completely changed my fort...

Yamaha outboard parts - Canada
Does anyone know of a Canadian online retailer for Yamaha outboard parts? I can only find US retailers that want to charge me $30.00 in shipping for a $10.00 part. I realize I could go to a local Yamaha dealer, but I would prefer to order online.

With the water levels in Brandon now, you might have good luck trolling down main street.

Re: Custom Boat Covers
Check out The Boat Top Shop in Hawkesbury. I got a great top for the Lund and avoided the big city prices.
