Lake of the Woods without a doubt. Walleye, crappie, musky, lake trout all world class and a pretty darn good bass fishery if you are into them.
Took a limit of crappies last weekend smallest was 12.5 inches biggest 14.5. With a 17 and 20 inch walleye as incidental.

Super Building a blind on crown land does not give you exclusive rights to a specific spot on crown land for the whole season or every Saturday. Moose Draw Change

Will the tag transfer system has changed a bit for the province of Ontario. A good step in the right direction. It is to bad we have to many hunters and not enought moose to make everyone happy, but this change will slowly take some of the games people play with wives and sisters etc out of the moos...

Lowrance HD all the way.

I have the 5 and love it.

70 ft of water vertical jigging for lakers and i can spot my jig if I can keep my line below the boat.

Walleye = Buckshot rattle spoon (also fav for white fish)
Crappie = Northland Fire Eye Grub tipped with minnow tail
Brook trout = jig a whopper Hawger spoon with a 6 inch dropper and worm.
Lakers = berkley power bait white tube tipped with a minnow.

Will have to post some pics to show results

I would recomend the Otter fish huts in the Cabin size for two people. I log alot of days on the ice in the winter and for towing and quality you cant beat a OTTER. Those white tubes will out fish steel and down riggers in the middle of summer. THe key is staying vertical over the structure that you are fishing and using a no stretch line and a rod with a fast tip and some back bone. You might surprise your self with what you see.
