Re: Ice fishing Nation River near 417

I to saw this on the way to Montreal this past weekend. Looked like a lot of traffic on a very narrow stretch of water. My question is more.....what bites in there???? Just about every sport fish that you'll find in that link. I've been fishing the nation from Casselman to Chrysler for about 6 year...

There's a parking lot right off St Isidore close to where the Castor Meets the Nation. You can either park and walk or drive to the end of the lot and pull right onto the ice by going under the creek bridge. I fit through it with my Tundra a couple weeks ago.

Check out the OFATV, for a $150 you can get a pass to run the trails from every club part of the federation. I'm not sure if there's one in your area but their website should tell you, some are even groomed in the winter.

I bought my ticket a couple weeks ago and am really looking forward to it. It'll be my first time and I heard that it's a great tourny.

I would start by taking a good look at the reverse overide. It sounds as though the rev limiter is kicking in at idle rather then later in the rpm. Maybe it has a short?

I recently acquired a legend with the split grips and found that I feel much better at the end of the day. The only reason I can associate to it is that the split grip forces me to keep my hands in the right place rather then too tight together resulting in using my shoulders rather then my arms to ...
