I personally use 20lb fireline 8lb diameter on my new casting combo, but it all boils down to confidence

i was pretty close to a birdsnest when i was casting a tube into the pool i accidently turned off my easy mag once and i had to get the little birdsnest out not fun at all

I picked up my very first baitcasting combo a Shimano Callisto, some hooks, 20lb fireline, a chatterbait, a swayback spook and a pack of 4" tiki-tubes

the reason that i don't post that often is that i have found a better site somewhat and am just tired of the way the site is turning

no problem, i try to learn something new almost everyday at least i hope so, but have learned a couple of things from this thread

i'll wait and see if my interest rekindles for this years upcoming fishing season, if it does i will 90% think about buying one next year for possible tournament fishing

for the compre would anybody recomend the 2006 model or 2005 model

what is the fine anyways for catching bass out of season just curious?

or maybe the snapping turtle thought it was a wild shiner baitfish or something like that

Maybe a year ago i was fishing after the bridge at Petrie Island and on the downstream side i was casting a frog coloured Jitterbug and when a snapping turtle followed it maybe 4 feet away from shore. Is this normal?
