Lures for sale

Hey folks I had a buddy of mine and member here (Jimmy Hawkins) passed away this past winter. He was a new member here but really enjoyed reading the fishing advise in the forums. Jimmy really enjoyed his fishing and left behind quite a number of fishing lures that I would like to sell for his wife....

Re: fishing with kids in ottawa

Try fishing from under the bridges in Kemptville. I used to catch them there before I bought my boat.

Re: Cardinal boat ramp closed due to high water

I've fished Cardinal a few times now and haven't really had much luck with the walleye. I have caught a few there but they were more the exception than the rule. I got to see if my good friend Jeff will take me out some day. :D

Is the launch up and running now?

Awesome looking walleye. Good to hear you were able to land a couple nice ones. You both must have been excited. :o

Re: Bay of Quinte Walleye

Hey Guys, Im headed to Quinte next week and just wondering how these high waters are affecting the area, I will be situated basically in the middle between Napanee River and Hay Bay, Just hope I am able to dock my boat or is water so high that some docks are submerged?, And of course How are the bi...

Re: Bay of Quinte update

Any more updates on the Long Reach area? I've heard its still 3 ft higher than normal but people are still hitting some nice walleye. I'm headed there tomorrow for a week of nothing but fishing with friends. (o0h, and we might have a couple brew too) :D

First Walleye Fish

I was just wondering where everyone is planning on fishing for opening day of walleye. I've had our cottage rented near Hay Bay since January so I'm really getting anxious to get out and see how it goes this year. There's a group of 8 of us that do a trip the second weekend in May every year for the...

Re: Choosing the right trolling motor

I've got the same setup ... 80lb Terrova/iPilot... I don't even use the foot pedal ! If you spend most of your time near your console you'll be more than happy just using your handheld remote for the Terrova. Also, what size breaker did you get ? And have you installed the Terrova yet ? You'll need...

Re: Choosing the right trolling motor

Picked up everything this past weekend from Paddeltales. Just waiting for the accessories adaptor and another marine battery. They stock a heck of a lot of goodies in that little shop in Winchester. Well worth the visit. Thanks again Ed. I can't wait to get it all put together so I can start trying...
