Well, if your 2HP is still there we can get it back. The whole situation seems odd too me. The guy posting only had a 5 minute problem on his auger that he fixed right there and then. If you have identification on the 2HP I can go get it right away. But if its in pieces its a whole different problem...

Because they don't answer the phone. That's why. I did call too... over and over and over and over and over and couldn't get through. Happens everytime I try to call.

You need a Quebec resident license to be able to fish the Ottawa, not a Quebec Non-resident license. So if you are an Ontario resident and you do not have an Ontario fishing license you cannot use your Que. Non-resident fishing license. I'm pretty sure that this is a typographical oversight in the ...

The rod will be fine but I'd get some stronger line for the bigger lure and the bigger fish!

Seems like the foot controls aren't really user friendly.

Maybe that's why on fishing shows some of the guys are barefoot... no shoes on. Might help with using the foot controls...

If you plan on fishing with a partner most of the time, get the 8". Two guys on an 8" can cut through 24" of ice almost as fast as power auger. An 8" does require more effort than a 6" if you're alone though. Good blades make a HUGE difference. Remember NEVER BANG THE BLADE...

Bought a "Sub-Zero" 8" last year and just yesterday it was injured. Poor Sub-Zero. The plastic wing-nut on the bolt that links the two halves broke... so I had to make my own and now I have a bolt that I need a wrench for. Wasn't even really sub-zero temps! No biggie. But still its a ...

Re: Ice Fishing Seminar

I went to Le Baron for some ice fishing gear and I seen a poster on the front door saying they will have a ice fishing seminar on Thursday January 7th 2010. Heres the link http://www.lebaron.ca/english/ott_ice_event.gif I went to Le Baron for some hunting gear and got ripped off. I didn't see any w...

I've used both styles and neither is worth getting serious about. Both work fine. I'd go with the 8" over the 6" simply fpr the bigger hole. There isn't really a noticeable difference in effort. If the drilling gets rough just check the blade for ice... blades ice up the time. Sharpening i...

I guess I just have a lesser set of expectations when I walk in a store....any store..... RJ How about when the stuff you buy doesn't work? When I buy new firearms I expect them to work. THAT'S JUST ME I GUESS. When you buy new from Lebaron's and they don't work they tell you to f#@k off! How would...
