Seriously tho, I am looking to get a new Yak and I have it narrowed down to an OK 11'trident, or Perception 12' pescador pro.
If any one has any comments on either of them I would like to hear them.
Thx

Re: Shirleys bay winter access onto the river
So the MNR states , quite clearly, that they are protecting both the shoreline and the grass aree for other users but you still gripe about it. Surprisingly the world doesn't revolve around making access to recreation easy. Sounds like the community already solves some of the problems, and sometimes...

You are giving way too much credit for intelligence. Most people will in the post tell you pretty much where they are.

Re: Procedure with OOS fish
Most likely the person posed with the picture, You know the one, arm extended thumb in the mouth. That obviously was not immediately released.

Re: Procedure with OOS fish
Seriously, The word "Immediately" is very clear. It is not "Immediately after I take this photo". If someone else is taking a photo while you are releasing the fish( not holding it up like a trophy) then that would be acceptable.

Re: Procedure with OOS fish
As below, quit looking for loopholes and do what the regs say. Release immediately, move, change tactics. It is a bass,or some other fish, unless it is growing an arm there are no shortage of fish pics. If it is growing an arm, then a CO would probably let the picture slide.

Re: Eagle took my fish
"if I seen an eagle circling me and my fish i'd probably get the camera ready too." Pretty evident. You leave an attractant out to have an opportunity. That is pretty much the definition. Granted, you didn't say you were going out on the ice and throwing pike around, but taking advantage o...

Re: Eagle took my fish
You realize wayde you just said you would bait the bird. If you actually cared about keeping the fish you could just cover it.

Re: lighthouse on Ottawa River
I know this isn't a timely reply...lol But from the description and there being only one CNR bridge between arnprior and ottawa it would appear that the Morris island aree is not part of the fish sanctuary. Thoughts? I just found this nautical chart online seems to point pretty clearly to MICA being...
