Where in ontario is a good place to rent a cottage and boat for 3-5 days for 4-5 Adults and 3-4 Kids? I have been searching a fair bit and Dalrymple area seems to be a the best so far. Well I did get bites but just from the small ones. I did however Wacky Rig a Berkley Pink Worm and a 25-32" pike flew up to it and just stared at it. Then it took off. Was kinda pee pee and happy at the same time. I know there is some 2.5+lb smallmouth and 3+lb LargeMouth in there as well as 28...

Heading down today probably around 2-3 and will fish till dark. If anyone is looking to join please feel free. Catch just that one or was there more? I know the spot your standing in and its usually pretty dead there. I wonder if the bass are moving back into the area. I used to fish there every day till all my spots went dead. The bass I would catch are the ones hiding in the weeds.

I catch fish like that all the time at petrie and have down near manotick as well.. Its almost on every pike ive caught at petrie and waterways that feed off the ottawa river.
