That sucks. But before you blame an organization a lot of the responsibility lies with the anglers themselves..... My partner and I have already made plans for our event this weekend on Newboro to ensure our fish arrive at the dock alive and with the live release boat at the ready get returned safe...

Thanks CBAF!

Thanks for having your opener on Cranberry & Dog lake. I really appreciate the dozens of big, dead bass floating around by my dock. It's really nice that you guys practice dead release. You're a testament to the sport.

Productive morning

Set my alarm for 6:30 am last night but my internal alarm woke me up an hour early. Pretty windy and wavy out there, but I figured as much after checking the forecast last night. Headed out to a narrow, deep spot between a point and an island, was ridiculously windy but it produced. All the other bo...

Yeah Sunday was rough despite good conditions. Calm water and overcast, I did manage a pike with a floating mouse just off the dock though. Was a little guy but a big surprise lol.

Went out for a bit today and seems worse than yesterday. It's like all the Bass went into hiding after Saturday lol

How was your opener?

Me and my buddy were up at 4:00 and out at 4:45, went over to a little secluded bay to use some top waters, pulled in a 5.6 and a 4.8 then rain, rain rain rain rain. Refueled on coffee and went back out and caught a couple other nice ones.

What was your best today?

Instead of useless security for the G20 we should have something like this
on every lake working for the MNR. Nobody would screw around then.
