Re: St. Lawrence Walleye - Cornwall or Morrisburg?

Look for a nice island off the main channel 20. 30'ft Fish In the back eddies. 5/8 jigs with 7" power baits . Look for heavy Weeds and fish the break line . You can have more success this time of year jigging then trolling. Fish are feeding heavy Morrisburg To Gan Quality Walleye fishing.

Re: No Luck on the larry

Afternoons and evenings are the best. mornings can be productive if there's some good cloud cover and the Southwest chop. I've used the Berkley Power leeches the only success I've had with them is drop-shotting with a 3-way swivel and a 10 inch lead. Looks like the gates are going to be closed all s...

St-lawrence River

Last week I went out fishing with the kids just jigging in 20 feet of water then the rod bends over and the and the line starts peeling off the real I thought I had a world-class Muskie but after a 30-minute fight I finally get to see what it was I guess it's a freshwater drum first time ever caught...

Re: No Luck on the larry

Walleye fishing in the last month has been excellent on the river. Catching walleye anywhere 15' / 35' of water. Look for the heavy weed lines with steep drop-offs. Drop-shotting with minnows or go pick up some Berkley powerbait 7-inch works the best right now black and pumpkin seed are the best col...

Re: St Lawrence conditions

Water is extremely high and lots of debrie floating on the river please slow down in the north channel as the water level is at the residents door step. Hit a log today 2' under the surface was lucky prop is easier to replace then the lower unit.
