As I recall last year, little shrimp and / or worms did the trick. Any thoughts on the type of shrimp - i bought PC brand ones from Loblaws last time around.

Fished constance on sunday with a shack. The ice is over 12 inches thick and safe for a pick up truck or less.
We caught 25 perch, 2 pike, and lost 5 or so pike to frozen tipups!
Good lake for steady fish (small in size).

Any hawk-er's with suggestions on what to look for when ice fishing at Otter Lake? I am heading there this Saturday and have never fished it. I will mostly try to cut a hole 20 ft from shore.
