Constance Lake Ice Conditions

It looks like 90% of the areas we fish are now good enough to walk on at least. Does anyone know the ice conditions on Constance Lake. I never ice fished on that lake and was wondering what to expect in terms of the number of anglers and ice thickness. I do not want anyone driving up to me with a li...

My 2 cents from just talking to other guys in the office to come out and fish with me (young and old). These are there top excuses. 1. The water is so dirty everywhere, I would not swim in it let alone eat a fish from it. 2. If you can drive there it is fished out, I never catch anything when I go o...

You will fish longer the more comfortable you are, besides use a good lake map, every year I see guys with these units all fishing beside each other. Look for them and save the $500.00. till next year.

A chain saw will not float for long as well, auger a little cheaper to replace.

Well I am gonna by an Ice Shelter

I have been looking and contemplating the purchase of an ice shelter and I think I am going to get the Frabrill Trekker. It lists @ $390.00 at Lebarons. The clam I think has a better reputation but is it worth the extra $100.00 or so. Does anyone know who could be selling this model for less ? (In O...

Almost as big as the pike I caught last year (LOL). Man that looked like a lot of fun, no doubt film shortened, it appeared to have taken the guy awhile to catch that one. I wonder what kind of knot he was using and the rated strength of his line. Wow.

Quick Strike Rig, What is Legal ?

I get the basic understanding of a quick strike rig for Pike, two connected treble hooks attached to to your bait, live or dead, then to a leader, then your line. My question is from articles that I have read, must I have a spinner on the end of my leader, before the line, if I exceed 4 hook points ...

Try Rollie & Helens Musky Shop. They break down the lures by category such as Surface, Crank, Jerk etc... and have starter packs designed for water types with between 6 and 12 lures with their colour combination recommendations. Myself I like the Bucher Line up. I do have a list of the top 25 mu...

If you think you could arange something, I would be interested, The only time I know that I could not go is the first and second weekend in February, other than that, would love to try it out.

Just so you know, I snore and fart all night, no need for heaters.
