Re: leeches
looking after them is not the issue, finding them appears to be a bigger challenge. I'm looking for 2 pounds. My regular guy is out and is telling me it's been a bad year for harvesting. I don't want to pay retail by the dozen, it gets a tad expensive

any know where I might find a couple pounds of leeches in early September? i normally go north walleye fishing in June and am able to get what i need from Charlie in Rockland but he's out. We are driving north on the 105 so anything heading that way works too.

Re: Clyde River
I drove by it yesterday
The no parking sign is due to a fire route. I didn't see the pipi, was driving too quick, but it's common to see pipes on small creeks and rivers where rural fire fighters drawer water on their way to a fire

Re: Clyde River
I drive by there all the time on the way to my cottage. I've never seen people fishing the banks, i think it is more recreational canoers and yakkers. I've never noticed a no parking sign either. I've also never heard anyone speak of trout in the clyde. Quick Google search and ya the stocking lists ...

Re: Kid friendly fishing spots?
I used to take mine to long island locks near Manotick. We used to get a ton of various pan fish using a hook, worm and a split shot sinker

Re: Mississippi Walleye
For those that fish the Miss regularly, how has the slot impacted the walleye fishing? I used to fish it for walleye pretty regularly and did OK. Haven't fished for walleye at all though in the past 3 or 4 years

Re: minnkota 55 powedrive - free - needs pedal
Hi Boys
this motor is gone. Hopefully it works out for the guy that snagged it. He was trying to make a hybrid out of two units. It'll be interesting to see if that works. Kinda wish I had the skills to do that sort of thing myself
cheers

minnkota 55 powedrive - free - needs pedal
I have a 2007 55 lb minnkota that does not work. The pedal is finished and I cannot source a new one. There are used pedals out there on the interwebs but people are asking an arm and a leg for them knowing that guys can no longer replace them. I am pretty confident that with a new pedal the motor i...

hey does anyone have suggestions on a proven product for washing scum off of a aluminum hull? I used to keep my boat in the driveway and wash it monthly or so but this season it sat in the water for 4 months and has a ring on it that I'd like off before I store. the boat washing stuff I have isn't g...
