If I am not mistaken they gain those horns during their spawn???I used to catch them for bait puprs and it looked like the males would have horns this time of year.But for sure a creek chub!!

Floats hmmmmmmm, This can be a tough one..... My personal pref are,A clear float,coulord top but a clear bottom.It will save the fish seeing the float. These fish have a high end vis!!!! In regards to riggin the worm,Just like you would thread a dew worm on a bottom bounce rig for eyes.
