Re: Carpet replacement

I'm hoping to do this in the near future as well, so I've been looking into the supplies. I don't know where you're located, but if you're in the ottawa area, here's what i've found. I'm pretty sure I'm going to go with a vinyl deck flooring over regular 1/2" plywood. From what it seems, you ca...

Re: Aluminum repair

I was looking at some stuff called muggy weld super alloy a while back, which looks like it would be suitable for smaller holes. Hey Captain,
I'm going to be starting a boat project of my own, and I'm completely new to this.
Did you have any luck with finding the marine vinyl? If so, how did things turn out? I'm hoping to find somewhere around Ottawa that stocks it, so that I can take a look and figure out my options.

Re: Sunglasses for fishing advice for the rest of us? -/+ $5

Cheapest sunglasses I could get were $3 from ebay this summer. They were polarized white wraparounds, and definitely made a difference in taking the glare off the water. The lenses were 'UV 400' polycarbonate resin. They didn't last long, but I probably shouldn't have sat on them. I'll probably be o...
