Re: recommendations for a fly-in/fishing lodge
I did a fly-in to Lac Hebert with Air Tamarac (1 hour flight out of Clova, Quebec) last Jun. 4 guys boated 700 walleye over 9 days. While the biggest walleye caught were 27-28 inches, the average length was 17-21 inches. Unfortunately, not a lake trout lake. Great outfitter, great equipment and gre...

Big walters from the river
After plying the waters of the river for 'eyes with little success over the last 2-3 years, I finally seem to be getting into some gooduns. Finding them in unpredictable spots from kingston to Cardinal :?: have yet to hit any numbers of them consistently, but here's some recent big walters: Got this...

Re: recommendations for a fly-in/fishing lodge
Thanks 'bunk. I'll look 'em up
It's doesn't have to be fly-in, and doesn't have to be lakers and walleye, those are just ideal target species.

recommendations for a fly-in/fishing lodge
I am hoping to book a fly-in or remote fishing lodge trip, ideally for big lakers and/or walleye. I'm thinking northern ontario/quebec. I'm interested to hear of any recommendations from anywhere some of you might have tried.

Re: Navionics
I had it, then reloaded my PC. I tried to obtain it again and was told a few weeks ago by Navionics support that it was no longer available. You can use their website to look at maps free. I did receive an email from them recently saying that it's available from the windows store for windows 8, but ...

Full moon fishing
It's been a long time since I had a fishing trip worthy of reporting on, but this past weekend was great! Went out late Saturday night on a whim with a buddy after seeing a nearly full moon and nil-winds. Hit the river around 10:30pm and fished till about 1am. Tried a pass on an unlikely spot, more ...

Any boating hazards in the lake that aren't marked with a jug or something?
Is the public launch easy to find?
