I just agreed to sell a rod to Peppino but the cost of shipping is prohibitive. Is there anyone out there travelling between the Niagara region and Ottawa anytime soon who would be williing to take it with them. I'll bring the rod to you at this end, and I'll give you some of my own design trolling ...

I'd say go ahead: present yourself respectably and do the decent thing, ask if it's for SALE and if so, see if you can reach a mutually acceptable price. No harm in asking, BUT, if you came to my door and asked if you could have it for free, I'd tell you to F*** Off out of principle. Just my 2 cents...

Just a reminder to those who bring bananas on my boat- make sure you've got the insurance first; you'll need it !!!. Nice try on the Niagara though, fellas. I walked the gorge Sunday and the water was perfect. Saw a few nasty salmon swimming around and some guys with a couple of bows at the whirlpool.

Changing the subject slightly:- In this day and age, I for one fail to see WHY you have to have your license WITH YOU.
