Bit of an update;
Vendetta rod and Ambassadeur reel are both gone. Figured the Shimano would have been the first thing to go but it is still available as well as the other stuff.

Fenwick is a medium heavy and the Compre spinning rod is a medium/extra fast.

gear sale - good gear for incredible value
It is that time of year again... I've accumulated several rods and reels that I mostly haven't even used and therefore I'm deciding to get rid of a few so someone else can actually enjoy them. If you are interested please contact me at benjamin@outdooractionontario.com or text/call 613 462 6811. I d...

Re: Targeting the Biggest Bass Possible
Oh yeah, I'm usually all about the finesse when it comes to smallies, I just think I happen to have a really realistic oversized bait that is going to fool one of these Giants. Otherwise I totally agree with everything I'm seeing here.

Targeting the Biggest Bass Possible
So, I'm going out on Lake St. Francis this weekend, and to say I am "excited" would be a complete understatement. I'm salivating at the chance to finally rock my drop-shot skills on a body of water where I have a chance at pulling a behemoth 6+ lb. bass. All week long, I've been getting ta...

Re: Wolfe feeling Sheepish for Long Overdue Post!
Your dogs are really awesome. Kudos to you for also being awesome by extension for being a) a great angler posting on Fish-Hawk and b) rescuing those awesome dogs from an otherwise bad life. Good on you dude.

Re: Oh Joy Oh Joy
I wanted to put my two cents in on what I think about tournament fishing (and yes, I fish tournaments, and I take the best care possible of my fish:) The bottom line is that the catch and release/conservation mindset in angling today is primarily due to the successful tournaments first from the US a...

LIVETARGET does it again: The Hollow Body Sunfish
LIVETARGET just introduced their newest baits at ICAST 2015 and they look great. The Hollow Body Sunfish has taken yet another award for top product, something LIVETARGET is very used to by now. Personally, I can't believe it took this long for this type of bait to be introduced to the market, consi...

"Spinnerbaitinator" just doesn't roll off the tongue the way "Toobinator" does, eh Ed?

Your Favorite All-Time Smallmouth Bait/Lure
For me, I have to go with a top-water spook, but it was tough to decide between that or drop-shotting a roboworm.
In the end, the blow-ups from beautiful big bass below the bait are what turned it for me.
So, what's your personal favorite bait/lure to catch Big-Belly Mama's?

Re: Gord Pyzer sets the record straight on catch limits
I just wanted to say that when RJ posted the "how did your opening day go" a few weeks back, I had written a huge essay about the American tourists I saw killing huge bass each and every day at the cottage I was staying at, but I deleted the whole thing because I didn't want to hi-jack th...
