Re: Fishing Barbless
If you are fishing with kids or grand kids, etc. I recommend Barbless. Less traumatic to remove mistakes and in my experience you don't loose that many more fish as long as you keep the pressure on. Gotta admit though, I have lost some pretty decent fish over the years using this method. Guess it's u...

Opening Day on St Lawrence
Wondering if there are any reports from opening weekend at Cardinal or Iroquois? Due to health issues I'm shore bound and would like to live vicariously thru reports. Saw 30+ boats at Cardinal Legion and dozen or so in front of Golf course in Iroquois. Water is DOWN to summer like conditions on &quo...

Re: St. Lawrence Walleye - Cornwall or Morrisburg?
Well in summer the most success I've seen and heard about was right below Dam at Iroquois. You'll probably catch 19 SMB to 1 Walleye. Jigging with 1/2-3/4 oz. jigs to combat current. LOTS of stumps, etc. to eat your jigs from when area was flooded to create Lk. St. Lawrence/ Good Luck

Re: Constance Lake and Cormorants
Cormorants are a threat to fish everywhere they exist. Our wonderful MNR is "Studying" the situation to see harm. They'll probably "Study" it right out of existence for fish. They were thinking of providing an open season on them, but, bleeding hearts will smother this. Just to thi...

Re: Cardinal
Just got back from Cardinal. Only saw 6 trailers at ramp, which,by the way is only able to launch 1 boat at a time as they only put concrete barriers off to side. Preparation for 'nother closer??

Re: Plugging some holes
Why not just put plugs in them same as drain plug for now just in case you change your mind or sell boat in future?
