Re: Canadian Tire Selling Cheap Knock-Offs Again

Why go into a Crappy Tire? Just avoid the whole problem and stay out.

Re: Preventing out of season bass strikes.

I'd love to hear your logic behind this Dano. Can you explain? There's nothing to explain i just don't use leaders never have never will. I don't lose fish or hardware almost never. I have caught fish very alive with someone else hardware sticking out of his yap! Remarkable. I have had pike bite cl...

Re: Preventing out of season bass strikes.

The 80# flouro leader may also be a give away. If you are fishing pike without wire or heavy flouro you are losing hardware not to mention damaging fish. i never lose any hardware and have never used a leader in my life if i lose the fish then so be it that's fishing. Using leaders is for pussy's :...

Re: Preventing out of season bass strikes.

I think the point he was trying to make is that it is hard to target one without getting the other. One of my favourite pike presentations is a lizzard on a carolina rig, pike love it (I use 80 lb flouro leader). Is it a pike or bass presentation? I'd say personally that's more of a bass presentati...

Re: Preventing out of season bass strikes.

It's a good thing that spinner baits and crank baits aren't bass oriented lures. unless I'm mistaken, they're as much as a pike bait then a bass bait vs. a jig, which is known to be mainly a bass lure I think the point he was trying to make is that it is hard to target one without getting th...

Good used RV dealer near Hawkesbury

Hey, Iknow this is the boat section but I couldnt find a more appropriate section.

I am looking to by a used small Class C motor home (about 25 ft). Does anyone know a good source in the Hawkesbury-Ottawa area?

Re: Preventing out of season bass strikes.

I target pike all the time when the season opens. I just move on if I start catching lots of bass. I leave the flipping jigs at home, but pretty well all other lures that you would fish pike with are also used for bass. There's nothing like a buzzbait to target early season pike. I will not stay aw...

Re: Preventing out of season bass strikes.

It would be difficult to target spring pike and not fish the shallows. Pike baits and bass baits are also quite similar (big cranks, jerk baits and spinner baits). I guess don't use frogs or big jigs.

Does the fact that everyone is carrying this card really make you feel safer on the ware? I wonder statistically if there has been any reduction in boat related accidents and incidents?
