Re: Fall St Lawrence Walleye

IMG_0453.JPG Thanks guys, I have had luck in the past dragging bottom bouncers with worms... My 9 year old caught a 9 lbs 2 oz walleye last spring in Cardinal... (We released the fish) I just don't know if Cardinal or Cornwall will be the better spot this time of year? Again, I appreciate the repli...

Re: Help: Shirley's Bay walleye

There is a shoal between Shirley's bay and Aylmer island, normally marked with a buoy (bleach bottle...), I have caught some nice walleye around that hump... I use a green fluorescent Big-O or wally-diver... Good luck.

Re: Fishing Walleye in the St Lawrence River

Hi Ed, Never fished that section of the St-Lawrence but if you head upstream to Cardinal I think your would have better luck! There is a nice free boat launch on the side of the old Gallop Canal, at Legion park. Put on the water and just start fishing on the other side of the break wall. There will ...

Re: Whats the bite like on the St Lawrence?

Well, i went out Saturday afternoon with my three boys to Cardinal and we had good luck bottom bouncing with worm harnesses... We caught one perch, two smallies and one 18" walleye. The boys were just as happy as Christmas morning! The fish went into the livewell and the boys compared who the b...

Whats the bite like on the St Lawrence?

I was out five times just after the season opener with limited success... Just wondering if the fish have gone deeper in and around Cardinal? Or should I be thinking about the Ottawa near Petrie Island? I want to bring my three boys out which means I need to catch fish to keep them interested... Any...

Last night I was out at Cardinal, third weekend in a row. We tried the evening bite with no success... I was out last Sunday at 5:30, that's when we got our...

Re: Walleye opener on the Mighty St. Lawrence

Nice fish(s)!!! I was out on Tuesday but I got nothing... :( I'm new to this forum and new to the St Lawrence. I have my own boat and would love to tag along with anyone wanting some company and willing to share a few spots? I have an 18.5 walk thru with a 115 Merc and all the gear to go fishing, no...
