Re: Lure construction

I use .24 wire for my spinners, anything bigger causes the lures to spin and twist the line

Any Watertown Shoppers??

I was in Watertown yesterday and walked to Gander Outdoors, which looked like a tornado had struck. Talked to the chap at the front door and Gander Outdoors is closing. I also went by Herb Phillipson and they are closed for a re-organization??? Dicks is still going, I guess we'll have to drive a lit...

Re: Favorite Walleye Lure

In the BOQ, the Uzick Spinner has been catching fish for 30 years - can't beat that. Good until the water drops below 50 degs F.

Team Superdad Sweeps Walleye World Junior Division

Once again, my son and grandsons arrived at Hay Bay all psyched for the Walleye World Derby. Everyone was fully prepared with winter clothes and boots to face the impending rain and cold. Prior to going fishing, the mandatory camp picture was taken. http://i138.photobucket.com/albums/q255/superdad4s...

Re: DIY fishing Cuba- Part 1 of 3 -Cayo Largo

Thanks for your Cuban report. I tired fishing near JIbacoa and fished for about 30 minutes when a wave knocked me off balance and I fell into the eater and hit the coral. CORAL WINS!!!!!!!!! A cut knee, scratches on the other and a couple urchin spikes in my finger. The doctor at the resort was grea...

A visit from the Grandsons was a sure reason to out the Superdad in the water and ply the waters for their last fishing for the year. We hauled the boat to Finkles and set off thru the Gap for the fishing grounds. Looks like the area is receiving plenty of action as there were six boats searching fo...

Charter Fishing Trip and Multiple PB's - Picture Heavy

Last summer at the Perfect Vue Derby, I was fortunate to win a Charter trip with Amherst Charters. Due to circumstances I wasn't able to use the charter for Fall Walleye. Charter Capt - Rob Eves was kind and considerate to permit the use of the prize in 2015. Mid July looked positive for my son to c...

Re: Bay of Quinte First Timer Seeking Advice.

If you visit quintefishing.com, there is a list of the launch sites. Deseronto & Shermans are close to fishing grounds. The fishing has been slow with people catching one or two, mostly fishing weedlines. Others have caught some fish in the open water looking for fish in the top of the water col...
