having never purchased a boat myself... I am confused... can you not go to a boat dealership a drive away with a boat? why would you have to wait until summer to get it? (unless you are getting something custom made of course..I get that) You can if they have it in stock, if not . .you are ordering...

Weather is good now! Have you been out ? I am in the largest bay south towards SB the one that the "flow" dumps into.

I got my boat in and then the next day found my battery was dead and some wiring under the council was fried. I think it is my transducer cable that is shorted out but am till waiting for the local repair guy to come and take a look. Thanks for the tip for fishing at SB, I will give it a try!! That...

I've only been on Whitefish for a year and am located on Bass Bay. It would be nice if the water warms up a bit. I still haven't got my boat in the water and now they are closing the boat ramps and barricading them. If I find a ramp I can use I will probably put the boat in sometime next week. Mine...

You may not find many in Whitefish, I've been here for a couple of years and only see 1 or 2. I think the water is a too clear for them. Cranberry isn't as clear so maybe a better option. There are crappie around though, just need to find them. Where are you located on WF?
