I've been catching perch on the Rideau River. I caught some the other day by Billings Bridge and also at Hogs Back

Nice walleye from the 'back......that's a classic spot. Used to fish it extensively in the '80s.....beneath the Heron Rd bridge can produce some beauts as well! :) ;) I never knew that. Thanks for the tip. I'll have to give that a go on a cloudy day. Cool. Some nice Muskies in there likely chomping...

I'm going to try to fish up until the ice shows up. I was out the other day and got a perch. Hopefully I can get some carp or catfish too still

I was out on the rideau the other day and caught a perch.

On Nov 1 I was at Mooney's Bay fishing and I got a couple of nice smallies and a pike . All on jerkbaits.

As far as I know, around this time of year you can get muskie, pike, smallies and I think catfish are also still on this time of year(not 100%) on that one.

Also, perch usually bite in colder temps too.
