Re: Brown Trout
Ive been into summit a few times now with no luck on the browns, i caught a couple perch and rockbass in there.
I was told that the ministry stocks a "river strain of brown trout" and they don't do well in the lakes but who knows.

Re: no crappies yet
I got into them heavy two weeks ago on the Rideau, me and the kids took some home for a snack and to my disbelieve the big girls were already spawned out, well they had no eggs in them anyways. Submerged tree in 6ft of water on tubes under a slip float. Probably caught around 80 all out of 1 tree. D...

There is a boat launch in chesterville on the west side of the dam, you can travel as far as the cheese house and bit past then there is some rapids. There are a couple home made launches ...

Re: Challie's Pond question

Buddy I work with took 16 home in that strectch. After the two weeks the fish were all gone. Probably still the odd one in there, but the po...

Re: Long Sault area
Hey Folks, new on here...Great site. This is a great stretch of river. We caught 37 walleye last weekend in front of Mclarens/Farrans. Go deep my friend, they were caught in 85-95 fow. The unfortunate thing about fishing that deep is they all die coming up. We had to eat an 8lber and a couple 6's. A...
