I was up to Lac Lapeche NCC canoe/ kayak campsites for the May long weekend. Sites were great, pike fishing was good , small mouth fishing is supposed to be good also but I was too early for that, had no luck with walleye at all, they have canoe rental on site, provide free firewood,

Hello , Kayak/ Canoe forum seems very quiet but Does anyone know where you can buy Yakattack accessories around the Ottawa area? Yakattack web site doesn't seem to list any dealers nearby.

Used to hook these often when fishing with worms for panfish on the lower Ottawa back in the day, they give a tremendous fight. We never ate them but a Danish lady nearby would happily receive them as a delicacy.
