Re: Favorite Prensentation for River Walleye
As the water cools you will need to go slower Wally. Try bottom bouncing using a slow death hook tipped with either a half worm or a Gulp minnow.

Awesome trip RJ, a bunch of tanks there... Sorry to hear about your dog Sinker. I had to do the same with our old dog Meadow in June. With 2 kids aged 7 and 4, that was a very difficult time to go through. My 4 year old still talks about how she misses her old buddy Meadow pretty much every day.

Re: Go Jump In A Lake - is it safe? Calabogie Lakes Question
Go for it. I swim in trout lakes all the time. Like you said, as long as you stay away from weedy/swampy areas, you're good to go.

Thanks for the kind words gang! Great stuff, especially liked all the underwater release shots. That's probably my favorite part of the GoPro = the ability to shoot footage underwater. My dream is to one day have a clip of a giant brookie and a giant laker underwater release shot. One day, fingers c...

Brookies, Lakers, Rainbows, Walleyes, Saugers, Bass, Perch!
It was a multi-species spring and it was my best one to date... Lots of great numbers and lots of great fish. I had so much footage that I had to write and record 2 songs for the video. Here it is, I hope you enjoy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RLioplZtzz4

Way to go Zippy, I always enjoy your reports. You chase those exotic species that most of us have never targeted. A nice breath of fresh air on Fish-Hawk report-wise.

Re: The Ottawa River Dream...50/50.
The smile says it all on that last pic. Congrats RJ, well deserved sir. Catching big fish by yourself also means netting big fish by yourself and that is one heck of a thrill. Just the fact that you did the 50/50 while solo fishing makes it that much better.
