Re: Clay Bank - Madawaska River
How valid are names on a petition when the wording of the petition can be changed without due notice given to people signing it. Should they not all be notified, so they can verify if they still want their name associated with it? What's to stop the person from going back and changing it again late...

Re: white lake snow depth
I agree with Doug, even with the tracks on my ATV I got stuck in the slush yesterday, good thing I was only for a joy ride around the lake about 50 feet from shore. Was able to get the winch line hooked up and get out of it. Back tracking home, all of the 30 minute old tracks were full of slush. Sno...

Re: Fish-Hawk Ain't Going Anywhere!
Great news Craig. Tks for that. Any chance you can open up about what all the troubles were and how it was fixed? Cheers I don't want to reveal too much because there is someone who deserves to tell everyone the details and great news who has yet to say anything, but there are people who are steppi...

Re: Mr Buddy Heater- Preventing Tank freeze up
What really sucks is the price of the 5 and 10 pound tanks at crappy tire. Why are smaller tanks 20 bucks more than. The 20. Pound tanks

Re: Buddy Heater
I have the same heater and also use the Mr.Heater hose, yes it does take several minute to pressurize, but then it works great. Once I have connected everything, I keep it connected for the season

Re: 8 inch gas auger or 10 inch gas auger???
I have a 8" Honda 4 stroke and love it. Even on Bark lake catching big pike, lakers and walleye the 8 inch hole was no problem.
Last year the only problem was at the end of the year, a couple of spots I drilled and didn't get to water, the ice was too thick.

Help me understand how that happens? I can't see how a lure would twist that much while castingDaboss wrote:I thought they were a neat gadget,...until I had thrown 3 lures off them.

Re: Stay away from Hardwood Lake?
Aledgedly back in the 50's a guy went to Hardwood Lake to hook up with one of the local women. The local lads took offence to this outsider, tied a rope around him and dragged down the road and out of town. When the OPP showed up, nobody knew anything and remained an unsolved mystery due to the peop...
