Minn Kota 3a Fuse
I've been having interference issues on my bow sonar which is connected to a Fortrex via the US2. I gather there is a 3a fuse in the head unit that could be blown. I was just wondering if anyone had seen this before and if it's just a regular blade, mini blade, or other type? Want to pick some up be...

Re: where are the biggest catfish of the regions..??
I'm sure the average size has to be a lot bigger in the St. Lawrence then the Ottawa. Everything is bigger in that river lol. I've shore fished the Ottawa many times, and get great numbers. But rare to get one over 5lbs. I've fished the St. Lawrence once and we only got 2 fish, but the average was 1...

Re: Turkey Opener 2015
Thanks guys! Mark the last few years I've been trimming all the meat off and grinding it into hamburger. It's some of the best (and expensive  ) ground meat we've ever had haha. Jen really likes it this way so that's what I did this year too lol. If I get another, I may do something different. ...

Turkey Opener 2015
After much anticipation today was finally the day. As with every turkey opener, work was sidelined, gear gathered and the alarm set for 3:00 am. All for a worthy cause  Last year we doubled and were done for the day after 30 minutes. Today was much longer. A buddy and I were set up long before ...

Re: Trail Cams
It's as addictive as the hunting is. There's lots of good reading out there about raising the cams. Many guys seem to be doing it with great success. I figure standing on a 5 gallon pail I'll be able to reach 8 feet or that will have to be high enough lol. I do agree, that the deer get used to anyth...

I'm also a fan of the black flash, and going forward it's likely all I'll buy. The cheapest in the Spypoint lineup runs around 140$ taxes in. Smitty is bang on though, the night stuff can suffer. You just get a lot less clear photos on average. Still good enough to see what is there and when though....

Dead Turkey Papers
Getting ready for turkey season. It's a great time of year! Decided to try a red dot on the ole shotgun this year. Finally got to the range to give it a go and get things sorted out. http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k298/sullyyy/2015/a_zpsipvkej18.jpg Initial impressions - I hate the red dot haha. ...

Re: Skinny water & fat fish
Yah, out of Ludington. My dad used to take us up to our Uncles there several times a year and weather permitting we spent a lot of time on the big lake.
I can remember that day like it was yesterday haha.
