Re: Since Shallow Walleye are Trending

Great message there regarding utilizing guides for knowledge rather than just an outing on unfamiliar water. These guys live and breath on these local waters and repeat clients typically only happen when folks get on and boat fish! And for those following, Marty has been boating his fair share of 'e...

Re: Battery charging help

We drag batteries out at night and charge 'em. We typically bring 4 batteries (24v TM). That way 2 are charging and 2 are ready to go.

Re: A Dandy of a Walleye

Would be nice to actually just see the real size of the pickerel. Have seen this on another site, why jam the fish literally into the camera to triple its' appearance though? :( Pointless trying to make a 3 or 4 lb walleye look like a provincial record . As a fellow who among 3 of us boated 115 wal...

Great gold rush for ya!
Since 2003, we have only broke 100, 3 times.

And 2 (2012,2013)of those times, Andrew, was with 7 guys.

So it's a little extra wider smile for us!

Re: Striking Gold!

An interesting fact: The lure that has always, and I mean always produce huge numbers is a Rapala SR5 in perch. Not blue Gill, or clown or fire tiger. Not a worm harness, or jig and leech. We troll at 1.9mph and we all use the same thing. Anyone who doesn't, doesn't catch fish, in any volume. Merely...

Re: Striking Gold!

Kerrazy You guys are doing excellent!! you mentioned being the only guys in camp putting up the numbers so I assume you are at an outfitters. Curious as to where you are because I book 2 walleye weekends a year for my group and am always looking for new locations within a reasonable 1/2 day drive f...

Re: Midnight seat open for zone 12.

What a beautiful night to be on the water! Perfectly still, nearly a full moon lighting up the bay. Lots of activity from beavers and even a few active fish jumps. Only thing missing, WAS A FREAKING FISH BITING ON MY LINE!!!!!!!!! Anyhow, at least the big old skunk is out of the way, and I can scrat...

Re: Kayak Fishing for Pike Help!

Rideau near Bronson bridge will find some respectable pike.

Also the bay near Jacque Cartier park may hold some toothy fun.
