WEIGHING IN FISH

Yes, you can weigh in your fish at anytime during the day and we encourage this if there is a chance the fish will die. At least then we can release it and it may have a chance. Any fish weighed in will count towards your total weight of 4 and cannot be changed for other bigger fish later in the day.

So, therefore passing on information or using the FRS to arrange a meeting spot to swap fish would not be permitted. The use of them to say hi or report a prob...

MISSISSIPPI LAKE REPORT (2004 post)

Went out for the first fish of the season in the boat yesterday and boated 23 nice crappie. Supper was very tasty last night! Have heard of guys catching them up to 2 weeks ago. Several boats were out this weekend fishing for them.

DRAW IN JUST 3 DAYS

Seaweed is definitely pouring it on thick! No one will believe it if he wins or you win Marcus - they'll think I've been bribed! I would be happy having any of the qualifiers in the cottage and over for breakfast next weekend. And, there's still time to get in the draw - just place your online order...

Hey Pink Lady

What are you going to do if Marcus wins the draw for the weekend package the weekend of the tournament? I know someone else who's in the draw that would gladly take your place. He's trying to convince me he should win cause it's his anniversary! It would be great if you guys came up for it - I know ...

Thanks to all who attended and we hope to see even more Fish-Hawk hats at the next one. We are looking for topics of interest so please email me with your ideas. We will definitely be running a course on electronics - GPS, fish-finders, flashers, etc. We would also like to do one on rigging plastic ...

DIVIDING OUR TIME

There is a derby on Mississippi Lake this weekend so I think Mike is going to fish in it. I will be running the store and helping out in the FishHawk booth at the Ottawa show Saturday afternoon. But, Saturday evening may just make it out to the hut for some fishing.
