Re: Looking towards 2016

I didn't mention BAA since they are already full. I don't know how much of a waiting list there is. Best of luck in whichever series you decide. BAA "Exec" here (I only call myself an Exec because I'm called worse at home LOL)... We have a waiting list which is fairly long (up around 10 t...

Re: BIG BASS MEGABUCKS Oct.17th SOLD OUT!

I also suggest to anyone weighing fish - WATCH YOUR STEP on the docks as they'll be extra slick. I nearly lost a winning-fish last year getting from the boat onto shore at this very event. I went down, foot wet, but held onto that bigg'un for all I was worth!

Re: Spots open for the 2015 BAA Season!

Yeah usually we as the exec get together in Jan and hammer it out. Then we hold a membership drive meeting in Feb/Mar. OK. I'll waite for January. If you want to be put on the list (waiting list), please contact us through the website (www.bassanglersassociation.ca). It's not a commitment to fish, ...

Re: Back from the north!

Aww shiit... I know for a fact that 99% of the largies and smallies in Eastern Ontario are going to be stung by you, before I can get to them! ARGH. :)

Welcome back! btw, speak to Claude or your bro about next weekend.

Re: LF partner for Big Bass Mega Bucks

Also looking for a boating partner as my usual partners are both busy (one has family commitments, the other is fishing in this tournament and I want to beat him!).

PM me and we can look to work something out!

Re: Province rejects chance to host 2017 World Carp Champion

I have spoken with Bill Mauro in the past, although this was years ago. He's a good guy and very down to earth, and knows what fishing, hunting, and forestry means to the province of Ontario. His reply makes sense, IMO. If it's a federal matter, then it would just be all but impossible to have the e...

Very strange!

Maybe it ate a bunch of dollar-store glow bracelets that kids took camping up on Great Slave? ;)

Re: White Lake questions

Two DONKEYS just shy of 6# caught on back-t-back days for the BAA Classic there last September.

Lots of bass and pike in that lake. Usually nothing of substantial quality but they are in there and can be caught. Kids will have a blast - fish around Andrew's Island for non-stop bass action.

Re: Oh Joy Oh Joy

Speaking on behalf of Bass Anglers Association here... I will say that our club executive members typically wait for Renegade and Shootout to announce their schedules, plus we check out things like annual or bi-annual events (cigar boat races, Big Rideau vintage boat regatta, etc). All of this goes ...

Re: Oh Joy Oh Joy

BAA was August 1st, and we collected money from each member of the club to give to the Whitewater Township, apparently for "launch repairs" - over $145 on that day alone. Note that casual launch users don't have to pay. Tournament anglers are asked to pay and comply, to make the launch bet...

I know the land is private, I was told the municipality tells the organizers to rent it to not crowd the parking ramp or they can't host their event. I'm pretty sure if they didn't have to they wouldn't... $$ So if you don't rent that adjacent field.....where exactly do you park 75 vehicles with bi...

Re: Oh Joy Oh Joy

As far as I can see some have missed the point being that the tournaments need to be controlled so that some lakes are not pounded weekend after weekend causing frustration for the other people that would like to use the lake for recreational purposes. ...... So improvements can be made, suggestion...
