Re: Latest creation
By no means am I trying to insult your work. I actually really like the one that has the Morethan ( I assume. the one with pinkish line) mounted on it. And by the way, excellent choices of reels. Just stating as an outsider looking in, I don't know if I could trust that reel seat. If it had some sor...

Re: Young Tackle Supply (Grand Opening April 4, 2019)
Actually stopped in there yesterday with the wife as she wanted some bath bombs. I checked out what you have there and the quality and workmanship looks outstanding. Looing forward to seeing a full wall of your product in there as Muskie baits aren't really my thing but some of the other baits you m...

Re: Latest creation
I guess I’m saying I’d be concerned of the reel seat letting go while fighting a fish. I guess I’d have to see it in person before 100% trusting it. Regardless, the seat looks awesome.

Re: Latest creation
That’s a very interesting concept. It’s not something I think to could trust. Especially with an Exist but definitely cool looking.

Re: Latest creation
Definitely interesting.
With all of your pics, I always wonder how you are managing to hide the real seat within the handle?
Any pics of it open?

Re: Dobyns dealers in Canada
Only one I can think of is Pro J tackle in Toronto. They just started an online store but it does not currently have everything listed. You can also reach out to them on Facebook (Pro J fishing Tackle) and they can get you pricing on what you are looking for. Every time I head down to Toronto, this ...

Re: Bait cast reels
Just run out to Paddletales and have Ed hook you up with something there. He has some reels on sale that may interest you but if you are going to enjoy the experience, please do not cheap out on the reel. with a baitcaster, the learning curve will be greatly reduced if you buy a good one to start wi...

Re: trolling motor
I have the new terrova 80lb 24v with ipilot and I am happy with it ! Spot lock keeps you planted!! Never had a issue with it! Its on a bass tracker 195. I just could not justify the extra $ for the ultrex when the terrova does everything I need and more ! Unless you bought a new boat and you do not...

Re: trolling motor
xRED, Having used the powerdrive (non V2), the 2nd gen terrova and now an ultrex, I am hoping to be able to shed some light on your quest for your newest trolling motor. The Terrova is nice. As you have experience with the V2, I would say the major differences will be the pedal, stow/deploy of TM an...

That's pretty crazy. Unfortunately, not the first time I have heard of something like this happening out on the ice.

Re: Will I have any luck with these colors?
I've seen both green and bubble-gum colours catch fish so you shouldn't have an issue with either. I personally would throw the green a whole lot more like RJ said though.

Re: Ottawa Boar Show- Who's going
There will be a few dealers there selling Tin. I would guess Princecraft, Crestliner, Lund and Legend and Ranger will be there for sure. I would half expect Tracker to be there as well. The prices I saw at the Spring fishing and Boat show were higher than I though they would be based on the tariff b...

Re: Ottawa Boar Show- Who's going
I'll more than likely be there sometime during Saturday. More to see what's out there as I have no intention of buying another boat for a long time seeing as I just picked mine up last year. Did you end up selling the Champion? what type of boat are you looking at? Just wondering because the prices ...

Re: Lakemaster or Navionics
I currently have both and still prefer Navionics. Apparently the newest version you can download has info from both Navionics and Garmin so I am expecting it to get even better. It's funny though because I have noticed there are some times that navionics is more accurate and others where Lakemaster ...
