Re: Collapsible or folding net
I'm looking for a good quality collapsible or foldable net for handling big fish like musky or pike. I drive a small car and spend 90% of my time fishing from shore so there's a lot of walking through brush and less than favorable conditions. While I've seen some options online I'd like to able tak...

lunkerhunt frog = super fail
one fish one bait! legs falling off and rips like a senko
metanium xg = 8/10, the performance is excellent just i find the reel to sit too forward on the reel seat.
tatula r = 9/10, awesome casting and power, awesome frog reel

Re: So... What are you guys looking forward to trying this y
So I brought the boat up to the cottage for our annual perch tournament and brought along all of my gear. After the tournament, I decided to try a few casts off of the dock to check some stuff out. First item tried was my Dobyns DX743c with me 8.5:1 Shimano Metanium spooled with 17lb (I think) flou...

Re: Advice Sought: Getting set up with a good tackle box sys
Tackle Organization Step 1: Buy tons of Plano/Flambeaux containers: all sizes 3600 3700 etc You will need them(See step 2) Step 2: When buying tackle buy in multiples. Don't buy one spinnerbait buy 6. Don't buy one bag of senkos in 956 colour buy 6. Don't buy one lucky craft pointer in ghost minnow...

Re: So... What are you guys looking forward to trying this y
I am truly not a fan of round reels but that right there is the only one I would ever consider purchasing. Just downright gorgeous. Please provide a review as to how it performs once you get her on the water. Fished a Walleye tournament on Sunday and used this reel 70% of the time. I tried lipless,...

Re: Advice Sought: Getting set up with a good tackle box sys
i use a soft bag and i put in 3 3700 boxes and a bag of plastics. Simple and easy. As for lures i would say 2-3 of each technique is good enough. Plastics - senkos, craws, creatures, drop shot plastics, horny toads, and soft swimbaits.

PROSTAFF in Canada means Promotional Staff......... Most folk who are sponsored still pay for their gear. Granted at a lower cost but it isn't free. Also, in order to have said sponsorship you need to help the company that sponsors you to sell their merchandise. So let's say a company gives you 20-4...
