IS THERE A FISHING SHOW OR NOT
I read on here a couple weeks back that the Carp fishing show was to be cancelled for this year.
In the Renfrew paper this week there is an add saying it is on April 1 till 3rd.
Whats up, does anybody know. We all looked forward to it every year.
Thanks Laker Taker

Spincast Reels
I am looking to buy my wife a new reel and she likes the spincast closed face reels. In all of your professional opinions what is the best spincast reel to buy in about the $ 100.00 dollar range. Thanks all in advance.

Re: NOCO Genius GEN 3 Battery Charger from Canadian Tire?
I installed a Noco 3 bank on my boat last year. one bank feeds my starting motor the other 2 are for my 24 volt electric motor. Charges the batteries very quickly and so far no problems. Also CTC gives a five year exchange on the charger. I also purchased a pair of 12 volt deep cycle from Total Batt...

Re: Muskrat Lake first visit
Hey Canam04 it is a good lake with lots of different fish. Lakers, walleye, pike, perch you name it. If you latch on to a Sturgeon be sure to release it right away or it could cost you. Cobden end is good for pike, walley and perch as it is shallow and weedy. Dead sticken with shiners or suckers wor...

Saw a couple guys out further about 60 / 70 ft of water pulled out a good Laker, looked like a 8 to 10 lbs. from what I could see. From the sounds they were making it had to be the ...

Re: Ice conditions at muskrat lake
Checked at the launch approx. 3 pm. People are fishing at the pop ups. Checked far out with the binocs and it is black ice right across and no open water. There is a green shack I see every year looking from the launch up near the trailer parks and he is right in the middle. There is about 60 ft of ...

Re: Muskrat lake report

I like mine outa there with club house English style batter and the deep fryer. waiting for the open water to go after the early laker f...
