Yeah I would differently say that your switch is faulty for sure, and for your second question I'm not to sure, I'd try to find a Bayliner dealer and ask them. Usually they can order lots of parts for new and older boats if not I'm sure they can steer u in the right direction..

Stock Humminbird setting are fairly decent, but they do take well to some minor tweaking, Set your beam frequency to 83kHz/200kHz to take advantage of the added detail of the 20° 200kHz cone and the wider 60° coverage of the 83kHz cone. Under the DI menu, DI Sensitivity = adjust up to brighten/down...
