Re: Does Baitcloud work?

I'm pretty sure it'll catch fishermen, which is all the seller needs.

That's my opinion and you know what they say about opinions.

Re: Where can I get Auger blades sharpened

Saw a real neat trick for toothless blades on YouTube. The contributor does water research and has several augers on the go used by the team. Sounds like they're hard on blades. He uses the buffing wheel on the bench grinder. He uses the green abrasive stick from a polishing kit. Holds the blade wit...

Re: Coordless drill/auger info

The Clam Company makes a conversion kit that mounts an electric drill and gives you two handles and a trigger like a gas auger. I picked up one on sale at Bass Pro. Well made and goes together easy. Using the Rigid drill because of the lifetime repair and battery warranty. Made an auger extension wi...

Re: Composite prop for a Honda 25HP?

I was looking for a composite prop as a spare for my 40 Honda. I went to the Prop Shop in Kingston. The guy said not to do it. Apparently the Honda's don't work well with composites. He explained why, I think it has something to do with pitch and a Honda's power curve. He told me that I'd be disappo...

Probably grounds in your sockets. Shine them in with some steel wool. I use electrical anti-oxidation paste. I bought some at Home Hardware cheap.

Use glue lined heat shrink to water proof it. If you have a Fastenal store in your area they have real good prices on it.

Re: Looking to Apply Spray on flooring

I wouldn't use anything like Line-x. It'll be expensive and too hard to work with. There's different types of textured deck over paints available that are made for wood. They should work and they come in different colours. Home Depot and Home Hardware has it, I'm sure there's others. Let us know how...

Re: Seeking shotgun advice

I bought an 870 Express Trio a few years ago. One barrel jammed after every shot. The gun has a three year warranty. Sent it to the Remington Warranty Center in Quebec. Couldn't believe how fast it was returned. All three barrels re-chambered and twenty rounds test fired through each barrel. No prob...

Re: Johnson 15hp issues - Ran great, now this - VIDEO

I had the same problem. Mine was a little glob of water in the tank. When I accelerated and the boat started to plane the little glob would roll down to the fuel pick-up in the tank. The boat would slow down and level out as would the tank, the water glob would roll away from the pick-up and the mot...

Re: duck blind etiquette

Go build your own blind and hang your name on it and say you'll be using the blind all fall. I wouldn't be impressed if I spent time finding a spot and building a blind and some guy, who has made little effort took it over.

Re: Battery hunt camp question

I would contact the manufacturer and see what the power needs and options are. A lot of people with CPAP machines travel, you won't be the first person with this question.

Re: Livewell pump wiring

I had a similar problem. It was the control switch. I found that the switch gets some oxidation on it from exposure to the moisture. If I worked the terminals on the back of the switch a bit, the oxidation would wear through and the pump would work, sometimes intermittently. I cleaned the terminals ...

Re: Navionics SD map cards.

I have the Hotmaps Premium and it works well for all the lakes I fish. The charts are really accurate and show the contour lines. That's all I need. I already can't catch what I see, I don't need more detail. There's some good video's on You Tube the will show you the difference. You may find that y...

Re: marking waypoints on gps

Fish On-line has a good map of Skoot. and shows the contours. The Lat and Long are on the bottom right corner. Click on it and it expands. MNR's Make a Topographical web site is also real good and in the satellite mode shows a lot of the shoals. The Lat and Long are in the bottom left corner. This i...
