Park on calabogie road. I wpuld inagine its no more than a ten minute walk from the road. You can see it quite clearly from the road in the spring when the trees are bare.

Re: Petrie island village
Not particularily. I am aware of the website and aware thst they rent huts bit most of the hutd are not rented. I know that you can store them on land as well. My question is .......so you have to pay to use the ice road, and fo you have to pay to set up an ice hut in the village. Thanks anyways

Not really looking for a boat launch but a place where I can park my car for a couple of days and drop a canoe in the water. I am interested in camping on the nature reserve area such as barber isla...

Re: A 5-4 from shore
Just an idea but if you were to cilut it up super small and throw it back in to the river, would other fish not feed on it? Would that be considered illegal as well?

Re: A 5-4 from shore
Did you eat it? Usually the only time I'll eat a fish is when I can't revive it. Otherwise I'm a putterback kinda guy. That being said, being that big might not be the best to eat. Nice fish though.

Re: Fitzroy provincial park fishing and camping?
I used to camp there often. My favourite spot was along carp river. There's a lot of rapids so it acts as good white noise as it can get a little noisy with other campers etc. Don't buy your wood there. It's crap and expensive. There was a guy near the park that was selling woukd that was acceptable...
