The smaller trout lakes in North Frontenac (north of Plevna/Ompah) are all open...not that far from Calabogie. The trails are a mess though. However not sure what's happened with the stocking program this year and last with the Covid situation. Blithfield Long usually gets a good drop of yearling R...

It's always the first good ice of the season but I haven't heard a thing about the actual fishing. You could try the lodge. If Walleye is your preference you're far better off going to Shirleys, specially if you stay for the evening run. Bonus Ling too. Cheers Thanks smitty, doubt the logde is open...
