I don't think this site has much at all to do with the pressure on the main 'Bogie' lakes... its basically been the same on those lakes for years and years. When did this site get into gear? And the current situation is that its busy one day and deserted the next day... its not bad at all. Everybody...

That sounds like a fun tournament. I can't see the video since I'm using dial-up and it takes forever. How big is the target and how far away? I'd be fairly confident at 30 yards and a plate size target and maybe 25 yards and a large apple sized target. No wind of course! I'd maybe even go further w...

Yes, I agree.. the deer situation is ridiculous and very dangerous. I've hit three in the last 3 years... one absolutely destroyed my SUV. Many, many close calls too... My next door neighbour was KILLED in a deer-car collision. That in itself is enough for serious action. My buddy hit one last week....

Sure, I'd try near Luskville or really anywhere along there could be good. I've hunted in that creek off Thomas Dolan before but its really popular so its not the greatest spot really. I've also hunted in Grassy Bay too. In fact, I put most of those duck blinds in there a few years back. At least th...

HUNTING.... yes... HUNTING... that's what I was wonderng about... hunting! Yeah, well I'm going to boat across and HUNT the Quebec side. Shotguns and shells will be involved. Ducks and geese will be shot... all the Quebec fish shall be spared. So... your petty fishing argument is ridiculous and unne...

Might be a little down from last year but not a whole lot. Lots of signs and sightings in the Lanark area. Don't really have a standard camp to compare numbers to year after year but I'd guess its down a bit for sure this year in that area as far as I know. My friend missed a beauty of a buck a few ...

I never took any pics but there was alot of damage. I had to basically rebuild the back right side and corner as it was completely missing and patch a lot of other holes that ranged in size from a few inches to a few feet. I used the thickest sheet metal that I could shape myself and then drilled an...

I bought 'closed-end' aluminium pop rivets at Ottawa Fastener Supply, inside The Tool & Equipment Store at 175 Robertson Rd. They were the only place that had them when I needed them this past spring to fix my boat. I had major damage that needed lots and lots of sheet metal and rivets. I used t...

Orrsey,

It'd be great to get out for some bird hunting. Hopefully, I'll get a few days of deer in this week and then its back to the bird hunting. I was thinking for the boat I'd make some camo out of wire and 'bull rushes' or similar looking plants. Should do the job anyway...
