I am a kayak Fisher so I tend to have very little gear with me aswell First thing first I always change up my gear. On any given day the fish mi...

Re: Freedom Hawk 12 kayak
Looks like it will easily brake.
The pontoons seem weak.
In a true fishing yak you should not need the pontoons to stand up.
I would pass on it but that's just my opinion

Re: figuring out line depth when trolling
It really depends on what lures you are trolling.
Each one with have a different chart.
If you want to insure you are at a certain depth the easiest way is with a down rigger.

Re: Fishing trip any advice?
Going south and targeting a different species Every day would be my choice.
Fishing salt you can target more then northern Canada.
Although if it's a group thing. My choice would be fly in fish northern Canada.

Re: Fishing the Jock
I fish the jock alot. At times can be hit or miss. Plenty of spots in barrhaven- Richmond.
I kayak fish so it makes it much easer.
Flash and noise is needed for the pike and skis. Bright spinner baits etc.

Re: Musky fishing on the Madawaska...
Ya I will still try for some ski on my light gear could be fun.
I can't believe I left my gear at the cottage, so stupid.
I looked on maps and I'm assuming the the launch is right at the end of the inlet?

Never fished there before hopefully I can get a few eyes as I realize I left 99% of my skis gear at the cottage.
I'm 80% sure I'll be there.
