Thanks for the help guys. I'll call OBW in the morning.

Looking to add a jackplate - need advice
Hey everyone,
I'm looking for jackplate advice. I have a 2006 Stratos 285 XL, with a 150hp Evinrude.
I'm considering a 10 inch Slidemaster jackplate. Is this too large on my boat? I'm told a 6 inch would be better...
Thoughts?
Appreciate your input.
Thanks,
ALBY

Humminbird 999 and/or 1199
Hey guys,
Humminbird had some smoking deals on the 999 SI/DI and 1199 SI/DI earlier this year.
Anyone remember the pricing during the sale?
I have the 1199 at the console, and looking to upgrade my 858 at the bow to an 999 or 1199.
Thanks,
Alby

I'm on call for the Heart Institute on Monday. Otherwise, I'd definitely be attending. Once again, the whole "work" thing is putting the brakes on my social life... Good luck at the tournament fellas, and great initiative Bobby. Sure hope Charles and the Robinson family get a boost from yo...

Top water froggin' on the Ottawa
Got out for a few hours last weekend, and did some top water froggin',
This guy hit hard! Came outta nowhere, and just inhaled this frog.
Something about top water pad fishing!
Enjoy the weekend. Looks like it"ll be a wet one...

Re: White Lake questions
My 12 year old son's favourite lake. Lotsa smaller bass, mostly all 2-3pounders. Great for kids. They'll catch lots, and it keeps em busy. And we always throw them back. Unfortunately many weekend visitors aren't doing the same. You'll find the odd 4 pounder. Only once have I seen a nickel come out ...

We're heading to Muskrat tomorrow as well. I believe Shawn D will be going there as well.
Any feedback would be appreciated. I've never been...
Doing some homework on that lake right now. Seems drop shotting's the way to go for bass.
Appreciate it fellas.

Adam,
Good intitiative, and good on you to organize this.
Unfortunately can't make it tonite. Young lad has baseball. But I definitely will make it out in the coming weeks, if you tee up another.

I usually do very well on the Ottawa River, but it's been extremely tough as of late. Water looks like a Tim Horton's Double Double, and water levels are very low.
Keep swingin' em.
